CAE has announced that the ProLine 21 equipped King Air 350 simulator at the Ansett Flight Training Centre in Melbourne has been awarded Level D certification by CASA. The CAE 5000 series full-flight simulator is used by CAE at the Tullamarine facility for business aviation training.

The European Aviation Safety Authority has granted type certification for the ATR 42-600, clearing the way for the first customer deliveries of the 50-seat turboprop. The certification of the smaller aircraft comes after the larger ATR 72-600 received its type certification in May 2011, and effectively ends the development program for the -600 ATR variants.
